Job summary

SEAKR Engineering, Inc. seeks a Senior DSP Engineer to design and implement advanced digital signal processing for space applications.

The role focuses on RF communications, synchronization, and high-speed ADC/DAC systems, with opportunities to guide architecture and algorithm exploration. The ideal candidate holds a BSEE with 10+ years (MSEE preferred), has hands-on experience in MATLAB, C/C++, Verilog or VHDL, and can mentor a DSP team.

Qualifications

• BSEE with at least 10 years of experience is required.
• MSEE preferred.
• Experience applying DSP concepts to RF, synchronization, and high-speed ADC/DAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Support a project through all design phases from architecture to delivery.
• Mentor and oversee DSP engineers and implementation teams.
• Communicate clearly with design team and customers.
• Develop DSP algorithms and verify with hardware co-simulation or C/C++ bit-true modeling.
• Perform FPGA/ASIC implementation and verification.

Senior Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer

• Full-time
• Compensation: USD 130,000 - USD 185,000 - yearly

Candidate will have thorough knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) concepts including RF Comms, Synchronization, and high speed ADC and DAC systems.

Candidate will have experience implementing DSP algorithms in hardware including:

• Algorithm prototyping in MATLAB or similar language
• Determining precision and dynamic range
• Algorithm validation using hardware co-simulation or C/C++ bit true modeling
• FPGA or ASIC implementation in Verilog or VHDL

Candidate will have a demonstrated ability to support a project through all aspects of the design phase including system architecture, algorithm exploration and trade studies, design reviews, implementation, lab verification, and delivery.

Candidate will have experience mentoring and providing oversight of DSP Engineers and/or implementation team.

Clear written and verbal communication skills are required to support design team and customer meetings.

BSEE with at least 10years of experience is required, MSEE preferred.

Active TS security clearance is a plus.

Compensation: Base payrange is $130,000-195,000 depending on qualifications.
