Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced Senior Principal RF Microwave Design Engineer to lead antenna and RF analyses and coordinate production hardware across test campaigns.

The role requires a Security clearance (Secret/SCI) and hands-on experience with digital receivers/exciters, MATLAB, Python, and RF test equipment. You will mentor engineers and present to customers as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of professional experience (Level 3) OR Master’s with 3+ years OR PhD with 1+ year.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required, with SCI access.
• Experience with Digital Receivers/Exciters and RF/microwave systems.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests RF/microwave systems architecture and subsystems.
• Lead a team of antenna design engineers through integration, test and analysis.
• Present complex technical programs to customers and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers on antenna and RF analysis.
