Responsibilities

Robots already work at Mayo Clinic, cleaning our floors, moving millions of laboratory specimens, and assisting in our operating rooms. Yet this is less than one percent of what is possible. Over the next decade, robotics will advance from sensor-driven, single-purpose machines to AI-driven autonomous systems, including generalist and humanoid robots, and Mayo Clinic intends to lead across that entire continuum, from the operating room to the loading dock. The Mayo Clinic Robotics Program exists to pioneer human-centered robotics that expands access and creates an empowered, safe, more personalized, and convenient experience for patients and staff, cementing Mayo Clinic as the global leader in healthcare while freeing our people for the human work of healing. Within this program, the Senior Digital Product Manager - Robotics leads robotics engagements with the program's customers: Mayo's sites, its Practice, Research, and Education shields, and its shared services. Each engagement covers the full journey, from understanding the job to be done and co-designing solutions with the frontline staff whose work will change, through vendor evaluation and selection, the business case, and deployment carried all the way to genuine adoption. The product here is not an app; it is a working robotic capability operating safely inside a hospital, laboratory, or campus, trusted by the teams it serves and measurably freeing them for more human work. This role is the customer's champion and the engagement's driver, delivering outcomes, not just robots.

Oversees the entire life cycle of the assigned product, from defining and setting the vision, managing team to hit single-product OKRs, deriving feature intention maps, managing capacity against scope, - and ultimately creating a best in class user/customer experience, while on time and within budget. Responsible for driving the product strategy, vision, design, and development execution.

Leads a high performing cross-functional team effectively and efficiently collaborating with business partners, customers, and other stakeholders (Engineering, UX/UI, Operations, Engagement, AI, etc.). Accountable for full product strategy and delivery excellence within the assigned domain – including execution, backlog alignment and refinement – ensuring the team always knows what to build next and why it is prioritized. Ensure delivery of high-value products in alignment with business goals and user experience optimization.

Leverages market and customer feedback and data to inform and guide future product/feature development. Leads discovery for the assigned product including user research, baseline definition and opportunity sizing. Manages stakeholder relationships across clinical, operational and vendor partners – facilitating alignment sessions, communicating progress, and surfacing risks early. Advocate for end-users, and builds and improves features based on their pain points - strives to make product technology and workflows easy to use.

Proactively manages and monitors product and operational risks (regulatory, security, operational, etc.) in order to prevent and/or mitigate risks to the customer and business. Ability to establish deep partnerships with business stakeholders to ensure product achieves business requirements and aligns to other organizational strategies and priorities. Escalates conflicts and strategic trade-offs to leadership as needed.

Monitors and manages product schedules, scopes and budgets and delivering as scheduled. Manages external Mayo Clinic vendor and partnership relationships as assigned. Sets and manages to product performance scorecards and OKRs; tracks product KPIs, product health and adoption outcomes, surfacing synthesized insights and recommendations to leadership. Works collaboratively across all departmental domains, business partners (Practice, Education, Research, Administration, Platform, International, Provider Relations) and Mayo Clinic Shared Services. Works collaboratively with internal Mayo Clinic clients, including consultants, clinical and research professionals, administrators, and external business partners.
