• Experience conducting forensic analyses using scientific methodologies.
• Knowledge of evidence collection, preservation, and shipment procedures.
• Ability to prepare reports and provide expert testimony.
• Ability to plan and conduct training on laboratory services.
• Knowledge of computer forensic and cybersecurity examination procedures.
• Ability to perform quality assurance reviews of analysts.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or forensic science.
• Certification requirements: CFCE, CCE, or DFE.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical advisor in evidence collection during major field investigations.
• Provide testimony as an expert witness before state, federal or other judicial bodies.
• Render conclusions and recommendations based on forensic practices of recognition, collection and interpretation of digital and multimedia evidence.
• Develop and implement laboratory programs, policies and procedures to ensure laboratory services reflect current trends.
• Conduct scientific research related to computer forensic examinations.
