Job summary

Agile Defense, LLC is seeking a Digital Forensics Lead to oversee forensic investigations for CBP programs in Reston, VA. You will lead evidence preservation, reconstruction of events, and produce findings for incident response and potential legal action. Strong communication to non-technical stakeholders is essential.

A Top Secret with SCI eligibility or ability to obtain CBP BI is preferred. Hybrid work arrangement and a $10,000 signing bonus are noted for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years in incident response, insider threat investigations, digital forensics, and cyber threats.
• Five+ years hands-on experience with bare metal, cloud or virtual systems and network security monitoring.
• Ability to create insider threat dashboards, reports and workflow diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital forensics for CBP program and preserve evidence with chain of custody.
• Reconstruct events, analyze compromised systems and produce actionable findings.
• Explain technical findings to non-technical leaders and support disciplinary or legal actions.
• Build faster, more reliable forensic processes and tools for recurring case types.
