Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking an Advanced Practice Dietitian to deliver comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to acute care patients and to mentor fellow clinicians. This role requires advanced expertise in clinical nutrition, leadership, and alignment with Providence's mission and core values.

The position supports Providence's patient-focused culture and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics or related field
  • ACEND-accredited supervised practice program at a health-care facility, community agency, or a food service corporation or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies
  • Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Washington Dietitian Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Washington Dietitian Nutritionist Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Upon hire: National Certification from one of the listed organizations (NSC, CBR, CSO, CSPCC, CSSO, CSOWM, CSG, CSPN, COCES, BC-ADM, CLC, ALC, ALPP, CHES, MCHES, IBCLC, CEDS, CSDI or RD-AP)
  • 4 years recent professional experience in clinical nutrition in an acute care setting

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to acute care patients
  • Mentor peers and share knowledge within the Nutritional Therapy department
  • Demonstrate leadership in alignment with Providence's mission and core values

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics or related field

Description

The advanced practice dietitian is recognized as having mastered the highest degree of skill and knowledge in an area of clinical focus. Functions as the Nutritional Therapy department's expert in an area of focus and mentors peers to share knowledge while demonstrating personal and organizational leadership. Responsible for providing comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to acute care patients while upholding Providence's mission and core values.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics or related field, and


  • Coursework/Training: ACEND-accredited supervised practice program at a health-care facility, community agency, or a food service corporation or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies


  • Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration


  • Washington Dietitian Certification within 6 months of hire


  • Washington Dietitian Nutritionist Certification within 6 months of hire

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
