Job summary

CSM Companies, Inc is seeking experienced diesel truck mechanics in Tampa, FL to perform maintenance and repairs on Class 8 trucks. Candidates with 3–5 years of diesel experience are preferred. Excellent benefits are offered as part of a progressive dealer group.

This is a full-time position with multiple shifts. The role requires ability to read repair orders, use diagnostic tools, and communicate effectively with the shop team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Formal technical degree, certificate or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on medium and heavy duty vehicles.
• Troubleshoots systems (electrical, drive train, HVAC, brake, engine, suspension) and identifies repairs.
• Writes clear, detailed repair description on Repair Order incl. cause and repair procedure.
