Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of diesel mechanic experience on heavy construction equipment.
- Experience with hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and diesel/gas engines.
- Familiarity with Tier 4 engines and aftertreatment systems.
- Extensive experience with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and heavy equipment repairs.
- Must have tools needed to perform equipment repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform major and minor repairs on gas and diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions and repair equipment.
- Inspect, service, and test equipment to manufacturer specs.
- Perform routine service including fluid checks and lubrication.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including warranties.
