Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostic work, and complex repairs on a diverse fleet.

The role emphasizes safety and efficiency to minimize downtime across equipment such as aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and oil & gas gear. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment and a high school diploma or GED, with some trade training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade training preferred.
• 5+ years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and advanced diagnostics on equipment.
• Executes complex repairs to minimize downtime in a safe, effective manner.
• Work with a fleet that includes aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas equipment, as needed.
