Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Technician to maintain a diverse fleet of equipment across locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs to minimize downtime while upholding safety standards.

Develop a career track in service or operations management within a supportive, training‑rich environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, with diesel/heavy equipment experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 5+ years of Technician experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills; Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and advanced diagnostics on equipment.
• Repair complex issues to minimize downtime.
• Work with a safety-focused team across a varied fleet.
