Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and isolation of mechanical or electronic malfunctions.
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure specified functional qualities.
• Determine cause of malfunction.
• Disassemble equipment to repair or replace defective parts.
• Reassemble equipment and adjust/calibrate precision components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality control.
• Record all work performed including test results and repairs.
• Conduct staff training and in-services.
• Respond to home patient problems.
• Train hemodialysis patients.
• Adhere to internal controls and reporting structure.
