Job summary

Somerset Auto Repair in Somerset, KY seeks an Experienced Diagnostic Automotive Technician to join our family-owned shop. You will perform advanced diagnostics, diagnose electrical, drivability, HVAC, and mechanical concerns, and identify root causes rather than replacing parts.

You must have your own tools and 5+ years of hands-on experience. We offer an uncapped pay structure with Monday–Friday 8–5, no weekends, and flexible 4- or 5-day schedules.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years in automotive technician role with strong diagnostics.
Own tools and toolbox required.
Experience diagnosing electrical, drivability, HVAC, and mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles.
Diagnose electrical, drivability, HVAC, and mechanical concerns and identify root causes.
Use diagnostic scan tools and service information effectively.
Perform accurate repairs based on diagnostic findings and communicate results clearly.
Support teammates and maintain high standards of workmanship.
