LevelBlue, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) Specialist to join our global DFIR team.

You will lead client-facing incident responses, perform forensic investigations on diverse devices, and deliver clear, actionable reports while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Qualifications

• Proven experience in DFIR and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of digital forensics tools and techniques (X-Ways or equivalent).
• Experience with IR frameworks (NIST, SANS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong understanding of networks, OS, and security technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate client-facing cybersecurity incident responses (containment, eradication, recovery).
• Analyze breaches to identify root cause and impact.
• Conduct digital forensics investigations on servers, endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms.
• Collect, preserve, and analyse digital evidence per legal/regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed incident reports with clear storytelling for non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with DFIR, Advisory, Testing, Threat Intelligence, MDR/MSS teams and with client IT and legal teams.
