Job summary

IronGate Cybersecurity LLC seeks a Senior DFIR Consultant to lead and perform complex digital forensic investigations across ransomware, intrusions, and advanced malware. You will produce detailed forensic reports for varied audiences and communicate findings to clients and breach counsel.

You will also mentor junior analysts and drive automation to enhance team efficiency within a consulting setting, collaborating with legal teams and executives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in digital forensics or incident response.
• Hands-on experience with Axiom, EnCase, X-Ways and CrowdStrike Falcon.
• Certifications such as EnCE, GCFE, GCFA, CCFP, CEH or CISSP are preferred.
• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related discipline is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct complex digital forensic investigations across ransomware, intrusions and advanced malware.
• Produce detailed forensic reports for varied audiences including breach counsel.
• Communicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholders; present to executive or legal teams.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve team efficiency in a consulting environment.
