UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies seeks a DevSecOps Lead to design and operate secure CI/CD pipelines for the CAS BEs in Montgomery, AL. The role emphasizes secure software delivery and cloud-native deployments with IaC, automation, and release planning.

The candidate should have 8+ years in software engineering/platform delivery, 5+ years in DevSecOps, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SWE, IS, Eng or related.
• 8+ years software eng or platform delivery; 5+ years implementing DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, IaC, containers, and Agile software delivery.
• Certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert preferred; SAFe DevOps Practitioner/SAFe Agilist preferred; Security+ required/preferred; CKA preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
