Job summary

CACI International Inc in Tampa seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure cloud and on-prem infrastructures, build and automate CI/CD pipelines, and enforce security across the delivery lifecycle.

The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, a BS in CS/IS/Cybersecurity or related field, 7+ years in a similar capacity, and hands-on experience with Puppet/Ansible, scripting, and RMF/NIST compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent experience in systems engineering.
• 7+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer supporting classified DoD or IC operations.
• Experience with automated configuration management using Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools within a CI/CD framework.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation, diagnostics, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of RMF, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and STIG compliance requirements.
• Experience performing vulnerability scanning using ACAS/Nessus and remediating findings to maintain ATO compliance.
• Ability to work effectively in distributed, mission-focused teams and adapt to rapidly changing operational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure virtual and cloud infrastructures.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or other tools to automate the deployment process.
• Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes or other similar orchestration software.
• Implement automated security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to maximize the performance and comprehensiveness of the DevSecOps pipeline.
• Create and maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs.
• Use DevSecOps methodologies to identify constraints and employ creative solutions to break bottlenecks, improve processes, and create efficiencies.
• Support the development and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
