Job summary

Northstrat, part of GRVTY, seeks a seasoned Senior DevOps/Systems Administrator to design and automate CI/CD pipelines for production environments. You will work on cloud/on‑prem deployments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to secure, scalable software delivery.

Requirements include 3+ years in DevSecOps, 4+ years building CI/CD pipelines, and TS/SCI clearance. Expect a fast‑paced, security‑minded team with opportunities for growth and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of DevSecOps experience
  • 4+ years designing CI/CD pipelines for complex software
  • 2+ years with CI tools such as GitLab/Jenkins (install/admin)
  • 2+ years integrating SAST/DAST into CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Ansible or PowerShell for automation
  • Experience designing CI/CD for on-prem and cloud systems
  • Knowledge of security controls for Federal and DoD systems
  • Experience in DevSecOps environments (code/repo, binaries, CI/CD)
  • Willing to learn and stay current with industry trends
  • Strong DevOps Pipelines skills
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Terraform, Ansible, Git, Jenkins)
  • Ability to build pipelines and support deployments
  • Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Python

Position Title: Senior DevOps / System Administrator

What Impact You'll Have

Northstrat, a GRVTY company is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both back-end and front-end development, bringing a wealth of knowledge in multiple programming languages and frameworks. This role demands a self-starter who can take vaguely defined tasks and independently deliver high-quality solutions.

The Williamsburg and Epsilon programs produce Mission Management web applications for the Intelligence Community, leveraging cloud-based microservices architecture. The program is l looking for Mid-Sr. level DevOps Engineer experienced in CI/CD Pipeline to add to their software development team for the Williamsburg contract. This DevOps Engineer will assist in development, standardization, maintenance, and implementation of CI/CD pipeline across program areas. The program emphasizes innovation and looks for individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural.

What You’ll be Owning
  • Design, develop, and build an automated CI/CD pipeline to deliver complex software products into a production environment.
  • Continue development and maintenance of the automated software build process using tools such as, but not limited to GitLab, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and other related CI/CD tools.
  • Automate continuous integration, deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of code across environments to include the production environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and automation.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Continuously improve and optimize infrastructure and automation processes.
What You Must Have
  • 3 or more years of DevSecOps experience
  • Bachelors degree in computer science (or related field) from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of four (4) years designing, documenting, and developing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Pipelines for complex software applications
  • 2+ years of experience with CI tools such as the DevOps build tools in GitLab or Jenkins including installation and administration, and facilitating developer training
  • 2+ years integrating Security Scans (SAST and DAST) into a CI/CD Pipeline;
  • Experience with automated configuration processes and tools such as Ansible or PowerShell
  • Experience evaluating and designing CI/CD pipeline for on-premise and cloud computing systems
  • Experience applying and knowledge of applicable security controls for securing Federal and DoD government systems
  • Experience with designing, implementing, and supporting a DevSecOps environment (code repository, binary repository, continuous integration/delivery, error tracking)
  • A willingness to learn and stay abreast of industry trends is also required.
  • Strong skillset with DevOps Pipelines
  • Solid command of standard CI/CD tools (Terraform, Ansible, Git, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Ability to build code pipelines and support deployment activities.
  • Ability to write scripts in Powershell, Bash, Python, or similar.
  • Experience with producing and refining Agile product backlogs and interacting with Product Owners
  • Willing and able to obtain Security+
  • Active or current Top-Secret clearance with SCI access (TSSCI).
What Would be Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of technologies such as Java, Python, React
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple constituencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Active Top-Secret clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP)

  • $130,000-$200,000 USD
