Job summary

Crypto.com in Chicago seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to tackle technically challenging problems and collaborate across the organization, from ideation to launch. You will help shape architecture, implement scalable cloud infrastructure, and contribute to the product development lifecycle.

Role requires strong experience in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and monitoring/logging stacks; you will work with cross-functional teams across APAC and EMEA time zones to ensure reliability and low

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps experience with AWS.
• Evidence of IaC and CI/CD pipelines design and implementation.
• Experience with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana.
• Experience with logging systems: Fluent Bit, Loki.
• Kubernetes and Terraform expertise.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for large-scale apps.
• On-premise system experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration across time zones.

Job description

As a Senior Devops Engineer, you will be involved a number of technically challenging problems, oversees design and coding for features. This position will be working very closely in multiple function of the organization. You will be involving every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next great product innovation to tweaking pixels right before launch.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools for application and performance monitoring
• Contribute to system architecture design
• Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure in IaC manner
• Improve and manage Terraform, K8S and CI/CD pipeline
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery & backup solution,
• Automate and streamline operations and processes
• Communicate, escalate and follow up as appropriate to ensure that problems are solved

Requirements

• Solid experience in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes is a must
• Experience in building CICD pipelines of a large scale enterprise application
• Experience in monitoring systems like Prometheus, Grafana, etc
• Experience in logging systems like Fluentbit, Loki, etc
• Experience in maintaining high-availability and low-latency crypto exchange is a plus
• Experience in Linux and Network Concepts
• Experience in GitOps with ArgoCD is a plus
• 4+ years experience in DevOps & AWS
• Ability to code. You are expected to write some maintainable code
• A strong interest in working in technology and/or financial environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in on-premise system is a plus
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across APAC and EMEA time zones
