Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a security-focused Senior DevOps Engineer in Chantilly, VA to join an agile team supporting cloud-hosted applications.

You will design, implement, and test build processes and AWS cloud solutions, deploying COTS applications on the Sponsor cloud enterprise. The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 7+ years in related fields, strong AWS, CI/CD, Linux, scripting, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 7+ years in computer science, information technology, cyber security, engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, application development and deployment.
• Minimum 5 years of production AWS experience with proficiency in AWS CDK for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with incident and problem management and troubleshooting in web-based distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and working in an Agile team environment.
• Experience with source code management tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Jenkins.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux and DevOps practices.
• Experience with scripting languages (bash, python).
• Experience deploying and debugging cloud initiatives and third-party applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test build processes to support the full software lifecycle.
• Identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions for the Sponsor environment.
• Proactively identify inefficiencies and propose actionable improvements.
• Create and present design documentation and participate in design reviews for build processes.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to deploy code using Git/Jenkins.
• Perform peer reviews and share operations & maintenance responsibilities.
• Ensure timely support to incidents and service requests.
• Operate monitoring tools to ensure health of services.
• Collaborate with software developers, DBAs, and system engineers to resolve issues.
