Job summary

An IT staffing organization is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator proficient in VMware and various scripting languages. The role requires at least 7 years of production experience in managing highly-available and clustered architectures. Candidates should have strong knowledge of configuration management tools and demonstrate expertise in Java application administration, FreeBSD or Linux system administration, and excellent troubleshooting skills. The position demands the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with VMware virtualization, management, monitoring and automation.
• 7+ years production experience administrating highly-available & clustered architectures.
• Expert in high availability applications including redundancy, fail over, scalability, monitoring and performance.

Responsibilities

• Systems administration including custom distributions, user and account management, patching and scripting.
