Job summary

Mev, Llc. is hiring a Software QA Engineer to ensure quality across our mobile diagnostics app, connected hardware, and cloud. You will own CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automated testing in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

You’ll collaborate with mobile, backend, firmware, and QA teams, work to minimize release friction, and help shape architectural decisions while enjoying fully remote work and flexible tooling budgets.

Qualifications

5+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure/SRE experience.
Strong experience with AWS (or another major cloud provider) and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
1+ years of experience using AI to accelerate software DevOps.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, or similar).
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS).
Familiarity with mobile release pipelines (Fastlane, App Store Connect, Google Play Console) a plus.
Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation.
Bonus: experience working in a regulated environment (medical device, healthcare, fintech) with audit/compliance requirements.
Strong collaborator who can work across mobile, backend, firmware, and QA teams.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile (iOS/Android) and backend/cloud releases.
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
Own and improve build, test, and deployment automation to reduce release friction and manual steps.
Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting across cloud services to ensure system reliability and uptime.
Manage mobile app release pipelines, including code signing, provisioning profiles, and app store/TestFlight/Play Console submissions.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing into pipelines.
Maintain security best practices across infrastructure, secrets management, and access control.
Support compliance and audit requirements relevant to a regulated medical device software product (documentation, traceability, controlled environments).
