Job summary

MetAntz in Menlo Park, CA, seeks a seasoned DevOps Software Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to automate, scale, and secure our GCP infrastructure and delivery pipelines. You will bridge development and operations to ensure high availability, performance, and security for our microservices and data processing systems.

The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, GKE-based containerization, and robust CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions or Jenkins, plus strong scripting in Python.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure role.
• Proven Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
• Strong Terraform and Kubernetes (GKE) expertise.
• Proficiency with Docker and Helm for containerization.
• Strong scripting in Python (Bash a plus).
• Experience with PostgreSQL, StarRocks, and RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and monitoring (GitHub Actions, Jenkins; Datadog, Grafana).

Responsibilities

• Automate, scale, and secure GCP infrastructure and pipelines.
• Bridge development and operations for high availability and security.
• Design and maintain IaC using Terraform.
• Manage production apps on GKE; ensure performance and reliability.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for microservices and React apps.
• Implement autoscaling and monitor system performance.
• Administer and tune PostgreSQL, StarRocks, and RabbitMQ.
• Develop containerized ETL data pipelines.
• Enforce security and IAM best practices; create automation scripts in Python.
• Set up monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
