Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Atlanta to support multiple software products and brands across the organization. The role focuses on DevOps principles, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration with Kubernetes in hybrid environments.

Responsibilities include CI/CD, on‑prem and cloud deployments, and incident response. The candidate should have a strong background in cloud platforms and scripting, with 5+ years of experience in high‑traffic sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
• 5+ years’ experience managing heavy web traffic sites with a developer focus.
• Infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform or similar platforms.
• Experience with AWS or Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with monitoring tools in APM, system vitals, synthetics, and RUM.
• Heavy scripting support (PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, Groovy).
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience configuring CDNs for performance caching and global traffic management.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Apply DevOps principles and automation to drive operational excellence through an infrastructure‑as‑code mindset.
• CI/CD implementation using latest DevOps tools and methods.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes and orchestration platforms.
• Support deployments across cloud and on‑prem environments with high availability and scalability.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues in distributed microservices systems.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams for seamless operations.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to provide after‑hours support.
