Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer in Dearborn, MI to design and build cloud-native solutions enabling automated shard provisioning. You’ll own Terraform modules across AWS and GCP, maintain GitOps workflows, and automate deployments with ArgoCD or similar tools.

You will provision Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE) and manage Istio service mesh, write Helm charts, and ensure zero-downtime ingress migrations while collaborating on CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience provisioning clusters using Kubernetes (EKS or GKE).
• Strong Terraform experience with production-grade IaC and GitOps workflows.
• Understanding of PKI and how to secure systems.
• Experience provisioning Kubernetes clusters in production (EKS/GKE).
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Open to on-call rotation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-native platform components enabling automated shard provisioning.
• Own Terraform modules for multi-cloud environments (AWS and GCP).
• Maintain GitOps workflows and automated deployment gates.
• Provision and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS and GKE) and service mesh (Istio).
• Develop Helm charts for multi-shard deployments and ensure zero-downtime ingress.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, Tekton, or Concourse.
