Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of distributed systems design and cloud architectures.
• Strong experience with AWS services and cloud-native patterns.
• Proficiency in writing scalable and optimized IaC.
• Advanced understanding of authentication, authorization, and security practices.
• Hands-on experience with serverless workloads and container orchestration.
• Ability to debug complex performance issues and conduct root-cause analysis in production environments.
• Skilled in cost optimization for cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions that align with system performance, security, and cost-efficiency goals.
• Write optimized IaC and automate cloud-based deployments using modern tools and practices.
• Support containerized workloads and orchestrate services using Docker Compose or Kubernetes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune distributed systems for optimal performance and availability.
• Establish observability practices by designing health signals and monitoring systems for production workloads.
• Automate patching, vulnerability scanning, and other compliance-related activities.
• Evaluate and reduce technical debt, and implement strategies for ongoing system improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge through code reviews, tech talks, and process improvements.
