Job summary

Atria Health Institute in New York seeks a Senior Software Engineer for our DevOps team to design, build, and operate the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and observability that power the rest of engineering every day.

You will own infrastructure end-to-end, define reliable patterns and security posture, and collaborate with Platform, Data Engineering, and domain product teams to accelerate production delivery while improving developer productivity across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, or backend engineering in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience designing and operating infrastructure in at least one cloud provider (ideally Google Cloud Platform)
• Track record of owning and shipping automation, pipelines, or infrastructure that made a team measurably more productive or reliable
• An enthusiasm for developer productivity and making our teams as impactful as possible

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Automation: Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Terraform; own and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions; build automation
• Reliability & Observability: Establish monitoring with Datadog, drive down alert noise, lead on-call incidents and postmortems
• Developer Enablement: Improve tooling and runbooks to boost developer productivity; manage preview/staging environments with data masking and syncing
• Quality & Collaboration: Write well-tested infrastructure code; participate in design reviews and RFCs with operations focus; ensure reliable security fundamentals
• Technical Skills: Maintain relational databases, containerized workloads, and observability tooling; ensure scalable, secure infrastructure
• Nice to Have: Healthcare/digital health domain knowledge; experience with containers/Kubernetes; incident response and multi-environment management
