Job summary

LMI is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the SHEPRD application, designing, automating, maintaining, and improving cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines across development, test, and production environments with a focus on CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, observability, and reliability.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, a technical degree, 5+ years in DevOps or similar, and hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, GitLab CI/CD/Jenkins/GitHub Actions,

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps, cloud or platform engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Strong Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Rancher skills.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, security scanning, and deployment.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure across dev, test, and production.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Helm releases and Kubernetes manifests.
• Operate Rancher Fleet and Palantir Apollo deployments and DB migrations.
• Deploy containers with Docker/Kubernetes/EKS and implement observability.
• Support incident response, rollback, and root-cause analysis.
