Job summary

HonorVet Technologies in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer / Cloud Architect to design and manage enterprise cloud environments on Azure and AWS. You will automate deployments, implement high availability, and lead CI/CD initiatives across multiple teams.

The role requires deep cloud expertise, strong scripting, and excellent communication to collaborate with development, security, and operations. This is a contract, onsite position spanning 12 months with possible extension.

Job Summary

• We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer / Cloud Architect with strong experience in Microsoft Azure, AWS, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, monitoring, and supporting enterprise cloud environments. This role will work closely with development, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to build secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• The ideal candidate should have strong technical and communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and deploy Azure/AWS cloud solutions.
• Manage and maintain Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-AZ solutions.
• Configure cloud monitoring, alerts, alarms, and notifications.
