Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own the delivery pipeline and automation for an internal observability platform. The role focuses on CI/CD, IaC with Terraform, and container orchestration across Azure and portable environments.

Collaboration with SRE and Lead Engineer is essential to support velocity and stability. The ideal candidate will have strong GitOps experience, secrets management, and the ability to design portable patterns for multi-cloud or on‑prem

Qualifications

• Experience crafting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines from commit to production.
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform including module design and remote state management.
• Strong GitOps practices with environment promotion and rollback strategies.
• Container orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm; stateful workloads.
• Secrets management using Vault or equivalent tools.
• Proven ability to implement portable cloud patterns across providers or on-premises.

Responsibilities

• Develop, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for all platform components, including testing and deployment.
• Implement and evolve GitOps workflows with branching, promotion, approvals, and rollbacks.
• Supervise delivery pipeline health and performance using the observability platform.
• Configure and manage Terraform modules, state, and secret handling across environments.
• Operate Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration, including stateful workloads.
