Job summary

Flamingo is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure for a Kubernetes-based SaaS platform. You will design, build, and operate multi-tenant GKE clusters on GCP, implement GitOps workflows, and ensure high reliability and security.

You will collaborate with engineering teams on deployment strategies and incident response. The role emphasizes Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm, and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or SRE with cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain GCP infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, IAM, KMS, managed databases) using Terraform.
• Operate a growing fleet of private GKE clusters: administration, upgrades, capacity planning, Gateway API, custom Helm charts.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD following GitOps practices, including ephemeral per-PR environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Mimir, Loki, Grafana, and dashboards as code.
• Design and secure cloud networking: VPC architecture, load balancers, TLS automation, NetworkPolicies.
• Operate the stateful layer with MongoDB, Kafka, Cassandra, Pinots, Redis, NATS, Cloud SQL; sizing, upgrades, backups, disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on deployment strategies and reliability.
