Job summary

LVIS Corporation, based in Palo Alto, CA, seeks a senior DevOps engineer to lead cloud‑based, big‑data medical analysis software. You will scale services, implement CI/CD, and drive reliability in a Linux/AWS environment.

You will implement IaC with Terraform, manage multi‑cluster EKS, and build GitOps pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD/FluxCD. Strong Linux, automation, and learning mindset are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of DevOps or software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, Terragrunt, Kustomize, and Helm.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions and CD tools ArgoCD/FluxCD.
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and manage scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure using IaC.
• Manage Kubernetes using multi-cluster EKS and related resources.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for testing, release, and deployment with GitOps tooling.
• Implement observability with monitoring/logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Analyze and optimize AWS costs for scalable apps and databases.
• Apply security best practices (DevSecOps) with Regulation Team.
• Design automated test environments and generate automated reports/dashboards.
• Plan backup strategies and operational runbooks.

LVIS has been selected to be a member of the Stanford StartX community and the NVIDIA inception program. We have an international team with our headquarters located in Palo Alto, California, USA and an office in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea. We are looking for talented individuals to join us in transforming the neurology health care industry. LVIS is looking for a senior DevOps engineer who is responsible for commercial cloud‑based big‑data‑driven medical analysis software in the cloud and management for continuously scaling services. A successful candidate would have a background in both software development and systems, familiarity with AWS and Linux servers, and a drive for automation, configuration as data, and enabling rapid development iterations.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Application and Resource Management on Kubernetes environment utilizing multi‑cluster EKS.
• Setting up CI/CD pipelines for application testing, releasing and deployment with GitOps practices (preferred Teamcity, Jenkins and ArgoCD or FluxCD)
• Site Reliability engineering practices with Monitoring and Logging; detecting and alerting incidents using Observability stacks (ELK is preferred).
• Cost analysis and optimization on AWS for scalable applications and databases.
• Integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) working closely with Regulation Team.
• Designing automated test environments with QA Teams and creating automated reports and dashboards.
• Designing for backup systems and operational experience.
• Developing and managing deployment strategies.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, agile practices, and the software development lifecycle.
• A passion for continuous learning and keeping up‑to‑date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and software engineering.

Qualifications

• 7+ years DevOps/Software Engineer experience
• IaC/Configuration tools: Terraform, Ansible, Terragrunt, Kustomize, Helm
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions and CD tools such as ArgoCD, FluxCD
• Containers and container orchestration platforms (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Cloud Platforms: Advanced knowledge of AWS
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack

Preferred Qualifications

• Security configuration of AWS system
• Database management knowledge (SQL, No‑SQL)
• AWS Solution Architect Certification (Associate/Professional)
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator
• Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist
• Familiar with Agile Development Practices
