MS SHIFT is a fast-moving company seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer. This role requires expertise in managing IT operations, working with distributed development teams, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee system security, compliance, and risk management.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve business processes.
• Actively monitor system and service performance and ensure system availability, performance, and scalability.
• Software Development & Engineering
• Manage software development lifecycles, ensuring timely and high-quality releases by implementing CI/CD pipelines in Azure and IIS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications.
• Optimize system performance, security, and scalability.
• IT Infrastructure & Operations
• Ensure smooth operation of IT systems, cloud services, and network infrastructure, providing proactive resolutions to issues that may arise.
• Manage Azure cloud infrastructure and ensure a cost-effective use of resources.
• Oversee IT budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.
• Manage IT support services, troubleshooting, testing and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of IT management and DevOps experience with a focus on software development, support and IT operations.
• 5+ years experience with the Azure cloud platform.
• 5+ years experience with SQL Database Management.
• 5+ years experience with version control systems like GIT.
• 5+ years experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals such as DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, VPN, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of load balancing, auto-scaling, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, with strong written and verbal communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
