Job summary

NextSilicon, a leader in HPC & AI compute solutions, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive deployment pipelines and scalable infrastructure for Production and Staging environments. You will lead automation, monitor systems, and collaborate closely with software engineering to ensure rapid, reliable software delivery.

Ideal candidates have senior experience with CI/CD tooling and scripting in Python or Golang, plus Kubernetes in production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years experience with infrastructure and CI/CD architecture in a technology company.
• 3+ years of experience running on-premise/cloud Kubernetes in production.
• Senior experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Senior experience coding in Python or Golang.
• Experience in Linux, TCP/IP, HTTP and other network protocols.
• Experience with infra-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• Hands-on with logging/monitoring stacks like ELK/EFK, Prometheus/Grafana, kube-prometheus.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex issues spanning topics.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improve DevOps tools, processes, and procedures.
• Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure for Production and Staging environments.
• Deploy, manage, and support environments, including troubleshooting incidents.
• Design automation frameworks for continuous integration and deployment to Staging and Production.
• Collaborate with Development teams to ensure end-to-end quality.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies; architect and implement infrastructure automation.
• Bring innovative ideas and solve complex technology problems.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in a leadership capacity. You'll work with and support the engineering teams to build and maintain the development and deployment infrastructure. You'll be part of building highly automated and scalable systems, working in a highly motivated and skilled team.

Requirements

• A Bachelordegree in Computer Science, Software engineering, or another related field is a must.
• 6+ years experience with infrastructure and CI/CD architecture in a technology company
• 3+ years of experience in running on-prem/ cloud k8s in production
• Senior experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub action, argocd)
• Senior experience coding in languages like Python or Golang
• Experience in Linux, as well as TCP/IP, HTTP, and other common network protocols
• Experience with infra as a code tool such as:Terraform, Ansible etc.
• Hands-on experience with a logging and monitoring stacks such as ELK/EFK, Prometheus/Grafana/kube-prometheus
• Ability to analyze and solve complex issues spanning various topics
