Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced DevOps Architect/Lead to design, implement, and manage scalable DevOps solutions in a full-time Pittsburgh role. You will lead technical teams, drive best practices, and ensure reliable deployment pipelines across cloud environments.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in IT, hands-on CI/CD, Terraform/Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes expertise, and strong scripting skills. Excellent collaboration and leadership abilities are required.

Qualifications

10+ years of IT experience.
Strong experience in DevOps engineering and architecture.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible), Docker, and Kubernetes.
Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Design and implement DevOps strategies, architecture, and best practices.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams.
Provide technical leadership and mentor DevOps engineers.
