Senior Development Scientist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for completing assignments requiring independent thought, judgment, and initiative. Candidates should require a limited degree of supervision for routine work and general instructions, with guidance on new assignments. This individual will contribute to the development of innovative protein‑based reagents and technologies through the application of chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology principles, assisting in developing new techniques and procedures that lead to greater departmental efficiency. All work must also meet regulatory requirements and follow company policies and procedures. Candidates should have a willingness to work in an ISO 9000/FDA regulated environment.
This position is part of the Reagent Research and Development department located in Chaska (Minneapolis, MN) and will be an on‑site position.
You will be part of the Reagent Development team and report to the Manager, Development Science responsible for design, development and commercialization of recombinant protein‑based reagents for immunoassays for an automated system. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced, problem‑solving role and have confirmed experience in chemistry, biochemistry, immunochemistry, or protein sciences plus knowledge of immunoassay chemistry and development, we want to hear from you.

The annual salary range for this role is $105,000 – $115,000, with eligibility for bonus/incentive pay.
