Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Development Officer to manage a donor portfolio and lead campaigns that drive annual gifts from $1,000 to $10,000+. The role reports to a Director, Managed Campaigns and may be hired at Senior Development Officer or Development Officer depending on experience.
You will cultivate donors, solicit gifts, plan events, and collaborate with volunteers to expand the federation’s annual campaign and legacy giving.

The Development Officer is responsible for managing a diverse donor portfolio, cultivating and soliciting donors and prospects for annual gifts in the $1,000-$10,000+ range. The Development Officer manages the strategy and execution of assigned managed campaigns, which may include local gated communities and other donor segments, to drive increased Annual Campaign results. The Development Officer works closely with individuals from all backgrounds to support Federation through its Annual Campaign and Legacy Giving.
Reporting to a Director, Managed Campaigns, the Development Officer operates autonomously as well as in collaboration with colleagues and Federation volunteers. Federation may hire this position at either the Senior Development Officer or Development Officer level depending on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate, as well as organizational needs.
