The Opportunity

A well-established, multidisciplinary firm specializing in planning, engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture is seeking a Senior Development Manager to join their Chicago Regional Office. This is a chance to play a pivotal role in driving high-impact projects while collaborating with industry leaders.

What You'll Do:

• Lead & Supervise - Oversee design and engineering teams, ensuring seamless project execution across various markets.
• Client Engagement - Be the main point of contact, fostering strong relationships and delivering top-tier service.
• Project Management - Prioritize multiple deadlines, manage contracts, and ensure project profitability.
• Regulatory Expertise - Stay ahead of state, county, and municipal land development regulations.
• Mentorship - Guide and develop junior staff, strengthening the team's expertise.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field (P.E., Landscape Architect, or Planner certification is a plus).
• 10+ years of experience in development services, with a proven ability to lead projects and teams.
• Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheets, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills across in-person, virtual, and written formats.
• Willingness to travel across the U.S. as needed.
