First Solar, Inc. seeks a Development Engineer Technician I to support DE tests in the JNC line and lab settings, focusing on laser operation and data interpretation. You will troubleshoot tools, analyze test data, and help improve processes to meet performance goals.

Requirements include a high school diploma with extensive technical experience or an engineering degree with related experience. The role reports to a Development Engineer and requires 0–5% travel with a daytime schedule.

Qualificações

• Operate laser tools and perform minor troubleshooting.
• Proficient in MS Office with working knowledge of SQL/JMP.
• Execute experiments in lab or production floor with rigor.
• Communicate with associates at all levels on a regular basis.

Responsabilidades

• Apply technical skills; adapt procedures, tools, and techniques as needed.
• Handle non-routine duties and resolve questions independently.
• Own a production process or equipment; oversee maintenance and training.
• Plan, coordinate and run engineering tests (ETAs) across lines and labs.
• Work with minimal supervision and ensure compliance with policies.
• Other duties as assigned; job description may change.
