Job summary

SAP SE seeks a Senior Developer for its Reston, VA location. The role focuses on design, coding, testing, and quality assurance of complex product features within a development team, in a hybrid work model.

The ideal candidate has a CS/IT degree with 4–6+ years of related experience and hands-on experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, UI5/Web Components, React, and automated testing. Knowledge of ADA WCAG, CI/CD, and Agile SCRUM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent with 6+ years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience developing TypeScript/JavaScript components and integrating UI with REST and OData APIs.
• Building enterprise web apps with UI5 Web Components, React, and OpenUI5.
• Creating accessible web apps following ADA 508 and WCAG guidelines.
• Applying clean code and TDD with Jest, Playwright, Cypress.
• CI/CD using Jenkins and GitHub Actions; Agile SCRUM environment.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex issues within own area and help others to resolve issues.
• Drive topics to resolution with high quality, speed, reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team to ensure product success and share expertise.
• Enhance skills beyond core focus and contribute to other tasks for the team.
• Advise on development processes and product standards; promote Scrum as servant-leader.
• Facilitate Scrum events and coach the team in self-organization; remove impediments.
