Neo4j, Inc. seeks a Senior Developer Advocate for Startups by the Bay to drive developer engagement with Bay Area startups, incubators, VCs, and founder communities. This role requires technical expertise, community-building, and content creation.

The Senior Developer Advocate will build relationships with startup teams, create tutorials and demos, and present talks at events, while collaborating with product teams to align roadmaps with developer needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in developer advocacy, developer relations, or a related technical role.
• Deep technical knowledge and proficiency in relevant technologies.
• Exceptional public speaking, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong content creation abilities, including writing, video creation, and code samples.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and community-building skills.
• Passion for technology and fostering a thriving developer community.

Responsibilities

• Developer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with founding engineers and technical leadership at startups in the Bay Area.
• Technical Content Creation: Create technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, videos, and documentation.
• Product Advocacy: Advocate for our products and technologies within the developer community.
• Community Building: Create and manage developer forums, communities, and user groups.
• Developer Education: Develop and deliver educational resources, training materials, and documentation.
• Metrics And Analytics: Track developer engagement and provide data-driven insights.
