Job Duties

Work with various teams for business solutions, portals and architecture to create an overall user interface, implement solutions with complete considerations on infrastructure capability, performance and supportability to achieve end user business results, using IBM WebSphere Commerce Systems. Develop, Deploy and Support e‑commerce site and outline the site roadmap, and integrate WebSphere commerce application with backend systems using a variety of technologies. Prepare detailed specifications for programs and estimates based on complexity. Customize and develop MicroServices using WebSphere Commerce REST API and integrate them with JavaScript frameworks. Analyse performance bottlenecks, delivering high availability and performance of the system. Ensure implementations meet the required scalability and reliability. Coordinate efforts across dev‑ops teams, which include support and deployment architecture. Analyse and design the architecture of software systems per user need & evaluate and identify software solutions. Define, categorise, and prioritise requirements to ensure appropriate outcomes for the solution or initiative. Control architecture during the next iteration of system release. Monitor & improve coding standards by restricting services and classes. Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non‑functional requirements for new software or applications. Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards. Design workflows and sequence diagrams to define interaction of different business layers with data access layers. Define solution structure to review standards across teams with an aim to improve quality and reliability.

Job Requirements

Required Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, IT, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered as a Software Engineer, Consultant, IT Analyst, or related role. Must be able to travel/relocate to various client sites throughout the U.S.
