Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in criminal justice with supervisory experience preferred, completion of pre-service officer training and a valid driver's license; must be at least 18 years old.
$30.27 per hour

TheSenior Detention Officer assists in the supervision of the administrative andoperational security activities in a detention facility. Directly supervises Detention Officersassigned to the shift. Provides for theprotection of each inmate/resident and the preservation of eachinmate’s/resident’s legal rights. Supervises the count of inmates/residents and directs adherence to allkey control procedures. Must be able towork any post assignment on any shift.
