Job summary

NikeSKIMS in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Designer to shape the design and development of apparel and performance essentials, blending technical materials with modern silhouettes. You will collaborate with Design Leadership, Product Development, and Merchandising to translate concepts into detailed tech packs and prototypes, ensuring fit, function, and commercial viability.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years in performance apparel, strong construction knowledge, and proficiency in Illustrator

Qualifications

6–10 years of experience in apparel design or performance apparel
Strong understanding of technical apparel construction, fabrics, and performance functionality
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design tools
Experience creating technical sketches, tech packs, and development documentation
Strong ability to translate creative direction into commercially successful product designs

Responsibilities

Design innovative performance apparel and essentials aligned with NikeSKIMS product vision
Translate concept frameworks into clear, compelling product designs including silhouettes, materials, trims, and technical details
Develop detailed technical sketches, design packages, and prototypes to support product development
Collaborate with Product Development and Materials teams to meet performance standards and fit expectations
