Job summary

TEGNA in New York is seeking a Senior Designer to bridge consumer-centered strategy and scalable digital products. You will lead as a hands-on integrator, shaping insights and strategy for media, communities, and connections.

You will mentor teammates, advocate for users, guide design systems, and collaborate with product teams in an agile environment to deliver elegant, user-friendly experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in product design and digital product development.
• Experience with design systems and platform services.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma for end-to-end design.
• Strong user-research facilitation and analysis skills.
• Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support product strategy and information architecture aligned to user needs.
