Job summary

The Beaufort Bonnet Company, LLC in Lexington, KY, seeks a Senior Designer to lead the creative development and seasonal design process for assigned product categories, translating brand direction into compelling assortments from concept through production.

You will partner with Product Development, Technical Design, Sourcing, Merchandising, Marketing and Sales to drive the Concept-to-Customer process, proactively solving challenges and delivering exceptional product on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of proven fashion design experience.
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; MS Office.
• CAD and PLM software knowledge.
• Strong sketching, illustration and design capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative development and seasonal design process for assigned product categories from concept through production; ensure milestones are met.
• Develop category strategies and product assortments that are trend-right, commercially successful, and aligned with brand identity.
• Research market trends, consumer insights, and whitespace opportunities to inform development.
• Lead seasonal design reviews, fit sessions, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver on time.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, Sourcing, Marketing, and Sales to ensure production readiness and brand alignment.
