Job summary

Magic Spoon is seeking a versatile Designer or Senior Designer to join our Creative team in New York. You’ll own a wide range of creative work across digital marketing, brand design, packaging, and retail touchpoints, helping translate the new packaging system into a cohesive visual expression.

You’ll partner with Brand Marketing, Growth, Sales, Product, and Operations to turn business needs into persuasive visuals. Remote-friendly with NYC hybrid options.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to work across both digital and physical channels.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating typography, layout, and brand systems.

Responsibilities

• Create on-brand work across digital, retail, shopper, social, email, web, paid media, presentations, packaging, and other channels.
• Help extend redesigned packaging into a broader visual system for the brand.
• Lead projects from kickoff through final delivery including concepting, execution, feedback, and production support.
• Shape briefs, clarify direction, and identify practical creative solutions as projects evolve.
• Manage timelines, files, feedback, and deliverables with strong organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and communicate creative rationale clearly.
• Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining quality and momentum.
• Support photography, illustration, video, rendering, and AI-assisted projects.
• Work with freelancers, photographers, illustrators, stylists, printers, and other external partners as needed.
• Prepare production-ready files and support internal packaging proofing, retouching, renders, and final assets.
