NardiHaus in Pasadena, CA is seeking an experienced designer/architect to lead design development and documentation for residential and multi-family rebuild projects.

You will produce high-quality Revit models for SD, DD, and CD phases, coordinate with consultants and community partners, and mentor junior staff.

This in-person role emphasizes resilience, fire-resistant design, and close collaboration with residents and stakeholders to rebuild fire-impacted areas.

Formación

• B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited institution.
• 7–10 years of professional experience in residential & multi-family architecture, California experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit (required) with leading documentation sets.
• Excellent technical detailing, visual communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage projects independently and coordinate across disciplines.
• Mission-driven, with an interest in rebuilding, resilience, and fire-resistant design.
• Familiarity with multi-family design, single-family residential design, permitting, and construction documentation in California.
• Experience working directly with clients and guiding projects from concept to construction; in-person in Pasadena, CA; hybrid optional.

NardiHaus is a residential design and production studio dedicated to addressing the urgent fire rebuild efforts across Los Angeles County and contributing to solutions for California’s housing crisis. Following the devastating fires in January 2025, we began collaborating with design and construction professionals through the Altadena Collective in Pasadena. Our goal is to restore Altadena and other communities by working closely with residents, stakeholders, and partner organizations.

We partner with both non-profit and for-profit groups to deliver comprehensive design and construction support services. We are seeking an experienced designer / architect with strong technical skills, design sensibility, and leadership qualities to join our growing team and help shape meaningful, resilient residential projects.
