Job summary

Micron Technology in Mexico is seeking a Senior Design Verification Engineer to join our memory and storage solutions team. You will collaborate with a US-based design group to develop high-density DRAM and emerging memory products, ensuring robust verification at chip and block levels.

The role involves designing verification plans, building test benches, debugging failures, and mentoring junior engineers, while partnering with international teams to implement new verification flows.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in mixed-signal verification and simulation tools (e.g., HSPICE, VerilogHDL, FINESIM).
• Knowledge of verification languages (SystemVerilog or equivalent) and methodologies (UVM or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement verification plans based on functionality specifications and architectural requirements.
• Design and maintain test benches and test vectors using digital and analog simulation tools.
• Debug failures, lead bug tracking, and ensure coverage closure.

As a Senior Design Verification Engineer , you will collaborate with an innovative design and verification team to develop advanced DRAM and emerging memory products. This role involves working on high-density memory chips with complex functionality, ultra-high speed, and advanced low-power technologies. You will ensure develop functionality through comprehensive verification at chip and block levels, supplying to the success of Micron’s global design teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement verification plans based on functionality specifications and architectural requirements.
• Design and maintain test benches and test vectors using digital and analog simulation tools.
• Debug failures, lead bug tracking, and ensure coverage closure.
• Collaborate with international teams to create new verification tools and flows.
• Mentor engineers early in their careers and lead develop verification projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of CMOS circuit design.
• Proficiency in mixed-signal verification and simulation tools (e.g., HSPICE, VerilogHDL, FINESIM).
• Knowledge of verification languages (SystemVerilog or equivalent) and methodologies (UVM or equivalent).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.).
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Prior experience leading small or large verification projects.
