Job summary

HNI Workplace Furnishings in Muscatine, IA, seeks a Senior Design Strategist to lead design development, drive showroom strategy, and influence decisions through expertise in product applications, space planning, and customer experiences.

You will use CET Designer, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, KeyShot, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce sketches, renderings, and presentation materials, collaborating with product, marketing, and engineering teams to translate concepts into functional workplace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience; 7 years preferred.
• NCIDQ Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development and execution of projects with focus on innovation and design excellence.
• Utilize CET Designer, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, KeyShot and Adobe Creative Suite for sketches, renderings, and presentations.
• Collaborate with WPA, product, marketing and engineering teams to translate concepts into functional design solutions.
• Define project scope, timelines, and resources; align cross-functional teams for showroom environments and new product launches.
• Partner with external design firms to develop concepts, storytelling, and material palettes.
• Lead presentations to executives and stakeholders, communicating progress and gathering feedback.
• Provide design oversight at on-site meetings to ensure alignment with objectives and timelines.
• Develop working documents and visual guides for showroom and sales teams.
