Illumina is seeking a Senior Manager, Design Quality to lead a team of Design Quality professionals across product-development programs. You will establish fit-for-purpose quality strategies, support development decisions with evidence, and drive risk management and continuous improvement within the Quality System.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical rigor, and cross-functional collaboration with Product Development, with a focus on delivering high-quality genomic diagnostics and tools.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 years of related experience, with 3-6 years of Management experience.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and directly lead a team of Design Quality professionals on product-development programs.
• Establish fit-for-purpose Quality strategies and enable execution across programs.
• Lead product risk management and ensure risks are identified, evaluated, controlled, communicated, and documented.
• Provide independent Quality leadership on complex, high-risk issues.
• Develop and sustain a high-performing Design Quality organization through coaching and development.
• Align resources with priorities while balancing supervisory duties and project support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and drive timely, evidence-based decisions.
• Govern Quality systems and escalate risks to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement of Design Quality practices and tools.
